Andy Zaltzman announces 'Satirist For Hire' Australian tour

Andy Zaltzman will bring his interactive stand-up show Satirist For Hire to Australian audiences next month.

A stalwart of British comedy, Zaltzman is a stand-up comedian, broadcaster, and author. He is the writer and presenter of The Bugle, one of the longest-runing and most successful comedy podcasts in the world, and has been a regular fixture on Radio 4 over the last two decades, taking the reins as host of The News Quiz in 2020.

The tour will kick off at Rhino Room in Adelaide on Tuesday, December 14 before heading to European Bier Café in Melbourne for two shows on Tuesday, December 21st and Wednesday, December 22nd, and capping things off with a show at The Comedy Store in Sydney on Tuesday, January 4th.

Zaltzman’s second Melbourne date will be recorded live for his podcast The Bugle.

Andy invites audience members to submit topics, issues and miscellaneous gripes ahead of the show for him to satirise. Air whatever bee may be in your bonnet to [email protected].
