Want to feel old? It’s now been 20 years since the first Harry Potter movie came out.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released on November 10th, 2001, and according to The Sun, a cast reunion has supposedly been in the works to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

Spurred on by the very successfulalthough contentiousFriends reunion, “movie bigwigs” (whatever that means) want to reunite the movie’s stars for a special one-off event.

The likes of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) have reportedly already been approached with filming supposedly set to take place at Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London.

It could happen as soon as the end of this month too. “The proposed show is being shrouded in secrecy as franchise bosses want to get talent locked in first,” an insider said.

“It would be amazing if they pull it off and they have offered big money to the cast to reunite. Many of the actors have moved on, but the movies launched them to superstardom. They all have lots of fond memories from their time filming together. Everyone is hopeful it will happen.”

The potential reunion would see the HP cast recreating some of the movie’s most iconic scenes, including the Yule Ball and the first boarding of the Hogwarts Express. As long as they recreate the Forbidden Forest trip and Ron’s bloody and bruising chess match, I’m on board. No, as long as they get Hagrid to say “Yer a wizard, Harry” to a 32-year-old Radcliffe, I’m good.

With the Warner Brothers Studio Tour containing most of the movie’s sets already built and ready to be used, that could work in the potential reunion’s favour.

The Boy Who Lived himself discussed the possibility of a reunion for the movie’s 20th anniversary earlier this year, although he didn’t sound hopeful. “I’m in the Dominican Republic at the moment filming and then I’m going to be busy, kind of working on bits and pieces until the end of the year,” Radcliffe told Entertainment Tonight.

“So yeah, I don’t know. I’m sure there will be some sort of celebration but I don’t know if we will be getting together or anything. I’m sorry if that’s a bit of a disappointment to anyone.”

But hey, money talks. And with J.K. Rowling not likely to be involved in any reunion, that might convince Radcliffe and co. to get involved.
