Sydneysiders The Art are set to release a new single this month, and will be following up the release with an east coast tour.

The new single, titled ‘Dead Inside’, was born out of the conflicting highs and lows of touring. Presenting two extremes, the song explores the differences in touring and staying home – two polar opposites. The song is as chaotic as its subject would suggest, but The Art do try to offer some hope on this track, with some elements of calm withinin the storm of the music.

In May they will be supporting the release of ‘Dead Inside’ with a nine-date east coast tour.

You can catch The Art playing at Hamilton Station Hotel, Newcastle on Wednesday May 13, Sweaty Betty’s in Miranda on Friday May 15 and Dicey Riley’s in Wollongong on Saturday May 16.
