According to betting odds, the winners of Love Island UK 2023 are going to be close, but there’s one particular couple who have very low odds of taking out the crown.

As of now, Lana Jenkins & Ron Hall, Sanam Harrinanan & Kai Fagan, Jessie Wynter & Will Young, Samie Elishi & Tom Clare and Tanya Manhenga & Shaq Muhammad are all still in the villa and technically have a chance of winning the series.

According to an Australian betting site, four of the five couples have relatively high chances of winning, with odds of $4.50 or less.

Popular betting site Sportsbet has listed odds for each of the remaining Islander couples on the show. The odds are broken down by dollar amount, and a higher amount means that the odds are less likely. For example, if one couple had a $2 return and another couple had a $10 return, the former has better odds to stay together.

The site predicts that Kai and Casa Amor’s Sanan are the most likely to win with odds of $2.75. In expected second place is Samie and Tom who have a return of $3.00. Next in line is Lana and Ron at $4.00, and closely behind them is Love Island Australia alum Jessie Wynter and her partner Will at $4.50.

Then there’s Shaq and Tanya. The odds of the firey couple winning are a long way behind the other islanders at a whopping $51.00.

In other seasons of the show, the finale will see four couples face off for the title, which means that the betting odds imply that Shaq and Tanya will be dumped next.

Sportsbet posts commonly create categories for popular reality shows, and let people place bets about who they think will win. In the past, the contestants who have better odds have often ended up winning the show.

While the past has suggested that low dollar values are linked to a high chance that the participant will win, it’s important to note that insider trading is strictly banned on the platform and the connection could be purely coincidental.
