The conference will feature a free festival and band competition alongside its conference activities and industry panels.

Australian Music Week is shaping up to be yet another exciting, informative series of events. Among the many shows included is the HiFi Days Festival to be held at Cronulla Park on Sunday November 6, with The Delta Riggs, Jeff Martin (of The Tea Party) playing alongside Terepai Richmond, Bootleg Rascal, Letters To Lions and Betty & Oswald.

The free festival is a very welcome addition to an otherwise jam-packed music conference, and, as a special lead-up to the festival, leading jazz vocalist Vince Jones will be giving an intimate performance at St. Andrews Church on Saturday November 5.

Cronulla’s Brass Monkey will present a special screening and live soundtrack performance of new blues music retrospective I Am Blues starring Ray Beadle and Chris Cain, which is also to be held on Saturday November 5.

Along with all this, the Music Week’s schedule of industry panel events and information sessions will offer a great opportunity for hopefuls and emerging musicians to have hands-on experience with a range of professionals. As an added bonus, Studios 301 are giving one lucky emerging artist a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secure the opening slot of the HiFi event. The prize will also include an exhaustive recording and mastering package at the studio, along with passes to the Australian Music Week conference.
