She may not have found love on The Bachelor Australia, but former contestant Cassandra (Cass) Wood shared news of her engagement over Christmas weekend.
Wood, who appeared on Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins’ season of the dating show in 2018, took to Instagram on Christmas Eve to announce her engagement to rugby player boyfriend, Tyson Davis.
“24.12.2022. Here’s to forever with you,” she captioned a series of images of Davis on one knee and the couple celebrating with loved ones.
Former Bachie friends and others flocked to the comment section to congratulate Wood and Davis on the news.
“Aw congratulations angel!” season six runner-up Brittany Hockley commented.
“Congratulations gorgeous girl,” wrote Alisha Aitken-Radburn, who appeared on both The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise with Wood.
MAFS album Beck Zemek wrote: ‘Congratulations gorgeous! So happy for you,” while Josh Packham (Love Island/The Block) added: “Wooo congrats guys”.

Wood reportedly began dating Davis in 2017, but split before she ventured to Fiji to film Bachelor in Paradise.
Wood fell for season four Bachelor Richie Strahan on the show, but the pair went their separate ways and Wood quickly reconnected with Davis.
The couple dated in secret until Wood’s final BIP episode aired, and days later they were papped on vacation in Bali together.
“It may seem like Bachelor in Paradise was a little like De Ja Vu for me, but the intensity of both those experiences and any pain,” Wood shared on Instagram after the pair rekindled their romance.
“I felt is all worth it since having this guy walk back in to my life at the most perfect time. And yes I say ‘back’ into my life, as we met back in 2017. I can gladly say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”
Just last year, the Daily Mail reported Wood and Davis had unfollowed each other’s social media accounts, prompting rumours of a split.
“Cassandra sparked breakup rumours after she untagged her beau in all of their photos together,” the publication announced. “The pair are also no longer following each other on Instagram.”
