The 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, has shared his definitive top movies of 2023 and we are in awe.

It’s the time of the year when film nuts young and old, compile the best and worst movies of the year into a list. It turns out that this includes Barack Obama! Posting on Twitter/X, the ex-president has demonstrated his refined film palette. 

So move over Academy Awards. A shiny gold statue is one thing, but not many filmmakers can say they have the Presidential seal of approval!

Unknown to many, he and Michelle Obama are the founders of the film company Higher Ground which released multiple films this year, including the much-loved Leave The World Behind, which can be streamed on Netflix.
