Barb Jungr will bring her interpretations of the songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen to stages across the country this June.

Jungr has been taking this collection of material on the road since February 2014, returning to the songs with her latest albumHard Rain.

She will perform her own interpretation of six of Dylan’s most politically hard-hitting songsalong with five of Leonard Cohen’s most impassioned songs of conscience.

Jungr’s selectionforHard Rainreflects her personal despair with the political times that we live in, and shehas deliberately chosen songs that resonate as strongly today as they did when they wereoriginally written.

Barb Jungr will play The Basement, as part of Vivid Festival, on Tuesday June 7. Tickets are on sale through the festival.
