Producer of the Batman franchise Michael Uslan has confirmed that Batgirl will be coming to HBO Max at the end of the year.
In the Heights’ Leslie Grace will be teaming up with Michael Keaton’s Batman after the latter will be making his appearance in The Flash.
WarnerMedia hasn’t confirmed an exact release date for the anticipated DC film, but Michael Uslan has teased Keaton’s Batman in Batgirl when it streams this December on HBO Max.
“Coming in November… and December… or whenever… Michael Keaton returns.”
Uslan’s post has been edited since it’s original release, as the caption originally merely said “And coming in November… and December… Michael Keaton returns.”

The change in caption may simply be Uslan attempting to cover up his tracks, as news has quickly begun to spread over Reddit with the information that he has confirmed a December release date.
Keaton will first make his return as the iconic Batman in The Flash, in theatres on November 4, before reprising his role in Batgirl.
Starring alongside Grace as Barbara Gordon and Keaton as Bruce Wayne is J.K. Simmons reprising his role in Justice League as Gotham City Commissioner James (Jim) Gordon, Babs’ father. Brendan Frasier also returns to DC as the villanous Firefly, and Ivory Aquino plays Barbara’s best friend and roommate Alysia Yeoh. Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Rebecca Front (The Thick of It), Corey Johnson (Hellboy), and Ethan Kai (Killing Eve) have also all been confirmed in the cast in unknown roles.
Last October, Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Ann Sarnoff revealed WarnerMedia’s plans to produce 12 HBO Max Original Movies per year, with at least 2 by DC Films. Batgirl will be the first of these films.
“HBO Max presents a huge opportunity for DC,” Warner Bros. Picture Group Chair Toby Emmerich told The LA Times. “It allows us to make high-quality mid-budget superhero movies that reintroduce lesser-known DC titles, while also crossing over stand-out characters from out bigger films into original series. Connecting the DC cinematic universe with Max gives our fans more ways to explore the DC multiverse and more chances to enjoy more great stories with these beloved characters.”
Batgirl will be streaming at the end of this year on HBO Max.
