On frosty weekends throughout July and August, Golden Age is screening some of Alfred Hitchcock’s best in a retrospective of the director’s extensive career.

The dagger plunging through the shower curtain,a raven circling ominously in the sky, a pair of binoculars peering through a window. We all know the cult classic scenes created by the master of suspense himself, but how many Hitchcock films have you actually watched?

This Winter, Golden Age will screen some of Hitchcock’s very best, starting with 1943’sShadow Of A Doubt(his own personal favourite), right through to 1959’sNorth By Northwest. Films will screen during Saturday and Sunday matinée sessions at 3pm, culminating in a 9pm Friday Fright screening ofPsychoand a Saturday Date Night double ofTo Catch A ThiefandVertigoin the final week of the winter program.
