Ben Elton has announced that he will be returning to Australian shores for the first time in fourteen years. Elton will be bringing his brand-new stand-up show, Ben Elton Live, to audiences all across the country.

Elton began carving out his comic legacy over thirty years ago as the host of Channel 4’s seminal, Saturday Live. Since then he’s achieved success as a stand-up comic, author, playwright, actor and director. Elton has written for some of the finest comedy shows in history, including The Young Ones, Blackadder 2, Blackadder The Third, Blackadder Goes Forth, Mr. Bean and more.

Last year he penned Keneth Branagh’s critically lauded Shakespeare biopic, All Is True.

Ben Elton will perform in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle and Brisbane from April 20th, 2020. Tickets are set to go on sale at 12 pm, December 5th. If you want to secure tickets early Live Nation members get the first dibs during the exclusive pre-sale beginning 11 am Wednesday, December 4 until 11 am Thursday, December 5.

“The last time I toured I was still smarter than my phone. Things have definitely taken a funny turn,” shares Elton.
