Ben & Jerry’s have got your back this summer as they’re giving away thousands of free ice cream tubs across Australia.
It may have come at the perfect time, just as the country is heating up, but as always there’s a catch. You’ll have to solve tricky clues quickly if you want to gain the delicious treats.
The week of free giveaways – in partnership with Uber Eats – begins today, December 1st. 1,000 yummy tubs of free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream will be handed out in each state across the one week. “Six days, six cities, six thousands pints of ice cream,” as Ben & Jerry’s enticingly put it.
“To celebrate summer’s arrival, Uber Eats have created the Influencer Ice Cream Van: a virtual van travelling Australia this week from influencer to influencer,” Ben & Jerry’s said in a post to Instagram.
The post continued: “And if it virtually visits an Uber Eats influencer in your city, pints of Ben & Jerry’s become FREE on Uber Eats!”
As for that catch? Both Uber Eats and Ben & Jerry’s will be spreading difficult clues across Instagram that you’ll have to solve to get the codes. If you’re lucky enough to work one out, enter the code in Uber Eats, pay the small delivery fee, and the free ice cream will be whizzing its way to you.
Since there’s a limited amount of tubs up for grabs, you’ll have to be quick-witted for this offer. First dibs and all that. According to their Instagram stories, Melbourne sadly ran out of free ice cream a few hours ago. Sorry Victorians.
The week of free ice cream now heads to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and the Gold Coast. If you’re a serious fan of ice cream (and free things), why not make a road trip of it? That would really increase your chances of winning.
