Benee has taken to TikTok to show some BTS footage of an upcoming New Zealand film she will be appearing in.
New Zealand singer-songwriter, Benee, has recently shared some BTS footage of a New Zealand film she is working on, much to the excitement of her fans.
The 22-year-old alternative/pop artist shared the footage on her TikTok, and although she didn’t mention what movie it was, we do know that it is being filmed in New Zealand.
According to the New Zealand Film Commision, some upcoming movies filming in the country are:
- M3GAN
- Choose Love
- Chief of War
- Time Bandits
- Power Rangers
- Our Flag Means Death (S2)
While these encompass most of the upcoming major films in the area, there is a likelihood that Benee is working in a smaller budget or independent film.
Details are still scarce, but if the New Zealand artist is willing to share BTS footage, maybe she will share more teases going into the future.

Benee’s ventures outside of music haven’t been limited to film, earlier this year she teamed up with Depop to donate to their charity.
“I’m so happy to be teaming up with Depop again; sustainability and recycling are where it’s at” BENEE said about the collaboration.
All proceeds from her store will go to the New Zealand charity, F’INE Pasifika. “This time I’ve chose F’ine Pasifika as my partner; I love their vision of a world where all Pasifika peoples thrive and where no one is left behind,” she added.
“Their work in empowering Pacific MVPFAFF+/LGBTQI+, Rainbow and Queer people and nurturing healthy relationships between them and their wider communities is SO essential. In a world where inequality is raging out of control, we must do our best to help those struggling to bridge those gaps and help the most vulnerable.”
