Everyone knows sharing is caring, but newly crowned Celebrity Apprentice Australia winner Benji Marshall took that to the extreme back in his rugby league days.
The sporting legend appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning to celebrate his huge reality TV win, and casually revealed that he once kept a sex toy in the shower to share with a buddy.
“I probably shouldn’t tell you this but me and my mate used to have this fake V-A-gina back in the days, and it used to just sit in the shower and we used to share it,” Benji revealed to howls of shocked laughter from the radio hosts.
And Kyle had a pressing question. “So whose job was it to rinse it out?” he asked. “Who ever was next,” Benji casually replied. “What you didn’t rinse it out yourself?” Jackie asked incredulously. “What for, man? We were 18! We’ve all done things when we were younger,” Benji said in an attempt at an explanation.
Ah, the joys of youth. When you’re an elite athlete, sometimes you just need a release I guess. And why was the sex toy just shared with one mate? What about the manager? What about the kit man?!
Almost two decades after his locker room shenanigans, Benji was crowned the winner of Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022 this week. He saw off strong competition from TV presenter Darren McMullen, winning a massive $487,105 for his chosen charity, Souths Cares.
Closely affiliated with the South Sydney Rabbitohs (one of Benji’s former clubs), Souths Cares aims to give children and young people from Redfern and the surrounding areas the chance to take part in health and education workshops to aid social and physical development and create a network of committed individuals working together to bring about social change.
