While there’s no shortage of reality stars on this year’s I’m A Celeb, there was actually one more who was meant to join the bunch; Big Brother star Skye Wheatley.
Skye dropped the bombshell in the comments section of current contestant and MAFS star Domenica Carlarco’s Instagram post, while wishing her luck on the show. In the comment, Skye revealed that she did a grueling test trial for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here.
“Hahahahah dead I did the trial version of this and they put me in a f*cking tank hanging over the jungle and dropped bugs over my head and I tell you I COULD NOT COPE,” the influencer wrote on Dom’s post.
She continued, “I thought I would be okay… I WAS NOT OK. GOODLUCK BEEEB.”
Skye Wheatley rose to fame after she appeared on Big Brother Australia way back in 2014, and has since carved out a successful career as an influencer. It’s reported that she earns around $3,000 for each sponsored post she shares with her 630,000+ followers.
This year’s season stars reality alums on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here. Domenica Calarco from MAFS, Aesha Scott from Below Deck, Anna Polyviou from MasterChef, Nathan Henry from Geordie Shore and Nick Cummins from The Bachelor.

Dom has been one of the most controversial contestants to ever appear on any of the nine seasons of the show, particularly, for calling out ‘TV royalty’ for former fellow contestant Kerry Anne Kennerly for neglecting to take part in challenges on the show.
KAK successfully completed the first challenge which involved staying in a water tank full of snakes and a crocodile but opted out of taking part in the second trial alongside Aesha which required digging through toilets full of human waste to find tokens. Her lack of involvement meant that the team missed out on half of their allocated food for the night.
Things came to a head when Kerry Anne Kennerly refused to eat an animal scrotum, along with Dom, and fellow contestants Dicko and Woody, and the team missed out on the majority of food once again. The MAFS star called KAK “selfish” and questioned why she bothered to join the show. The show-down turned heated and Kerry Anne Kennerly decided to self eliminate from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here.
