Turns out Borat 2 is not only a real thing, the trailer reveals that it is stuffed with all the ridiculous antics you’ve come to expect from Sacha Baron Cohen.

After reports of Borat 2‘s supposed existence and its ridiculously absurd title (which sadly turned out to be false), we can now confirm that the film does indeed exist and is filled with a heap of wild shenanigans based on the first trailer that’s just been released.

Firstly, we have an official title for the film: Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Yes, it is that absurd.

Secondly, the movie revolves around how Borat is instructed to return to America after bringing “great shame” to Kazakhstan with his first film. This time he is told to carry out a “secret mission” – which is to marry his daughter to someone “close to the throne” of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence – but this proves to be difficult as most Americans recognise him so he has to use a heap of elaborate disguises to accomplish his “mission.”

If that synopsis sounds insane, seeing footage of it unfold in the trailer is even more bonkers.

We see Borat get hit in the crotch, drive across America with his “daughter” strapped to the roof of his ute, infiltrate the homes and workplaces of several unsuspecting Americans (some of whom are clearly rednecks), and even managing to infiltrate a Mike Pence rally while wearing a terrible Trump disguise.

All that was packed into three minutes, which makes one wonder what the hell does Borat get up to over the remaining 90 or so minutes.

As for when we can all see what sort of shenanigans Sacha Baron Cohen has up his sleeve for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, the film will drop on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 23rd.

Guess this means plenty of time for Borat to get up to a heap of antics before the all-important 2020 U.S. presidential election happens on Tuesday, November 3rd.
