HBO has dropped the official trailer for Game Of Thrones‘ eighth season, undoubtedly getting us all ready for one monumental television event.

As you may or may not be aware, Game Of Thrones is set to end in a matter of months, after eight years of almost constant critical acclaim.

With the story reaching its end, George R. R. Martin is still working on the final two books, but has thankfully given producers some insight as to what’s going down in these final releases, allowing it to be incorporated into the show.

Following the ending of season seven in August of 2017, fans have had to wait an awful long time for this final season to arrive. But now, with just one month to go until the show begins its final run, the official trailer for Game Of Thrones‘ eighth season has arrived.

While we received a small teaser back in January, this new trailer gives audiences a far greater look into what we should be expecting.

A dark preview of the new season, it’s a heart-pounding thrillfest from start to finish, undoubtedly getting viewers not only extremely excited for the season to premiere, but undoubtedly saddened to know it is all coming to an end.

The eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones is set to premiere on April 15th, with Aussie viewers able to watch the new season from 11am each Monday through Fotxtel’s Fox Showcase channel.
