After 8 years of hosting the street rock festival in the iconic AC/DC lane in Melboure, Cherry Bar is bringing CherryRock to Sydney this year, and in a recent development, stoner rock legend Brant Bjork is set to co-headline alongside cult heroes Meat Puppets.

Bjork is famous for is drumming with bands such as Kyuss and Fu Man Chu but has since moved centre stage taking on guitar and vocal duties with his solo project, wowing stoner rockers worldwide. As for Meat Puppets, they are famed for joining Nirvana at the request of Kurt Cobain during their famed MTV Unplugged set as both bands performed the Meat Puppet tracks ‘Lake of Fire’, ‘Plateau’ and ‘Oh Me’.

The band haven’t played in the country for 20 whopping years so this is sure to be a seriously special gig. Joined by the likes of Drunk Mums, Gay Paris and Beast Wars among others, this gig is one not to miss.

See Brant Bjork at The Factory Theatre on Saturday May 31.
