The Challenge star Brittany Hockley appears to have accidentally revealed her new secret boyfriend after he was spotted in the background of her Instagram story.

Brittany – who recently filled in for Jackie O on the Kyle and Jackie O show – has gone to great extents to conceal the identity of her new man. However, on the radio show, she said she was “in the early days” of seeing someone who “wasn’t Australian”. Brittany told her co-host that she met the man on the dating app Raya, and suggested that he was in the public eye.

Over the Christmas and New Year’s period, the former The Bachelor contestant shared a series of romantic photos of dinners out and sunset walks with a man but didn’t reveal who he was.

Now, Yahoo Lifestyle managed to pause her latest social media at exactly the right time, and uncover who her mystery man is.

Turns out, Brittany has been dating a professional footballer named Benjamin Siegrist. Benjamin Siegrist is the very well-known goalkeeper for Celtic Football Club, which is based in Glasgow.

In June of last year, Brittany broke down live on air in a chat with KIIS Network’s Will & Woody and said that she feels “unloved” and like there’s “something wrong” with her.

“I feel very unloved, like something must be wrong with me, like I’m the common denominator,” Brittany told the hosts and Laura.

She added, “I’ve had like ten years of horrific things happening to me, some public, some very private. But I just feel like I can’t find love or feel loved. I always feel like, ‘Here I am again, I’m unloved again. I’m heartbroken again.’”

Laura referenced Britney’s recent relationship with Jordan Thompson and asked whether the breakup has made her feel this way.

“Do you think that this has been more amplified this year … feeling like being put back into the same place as last year?” Laura sympathetically asked.

“I had what I thought was finally love, and … yeah. It just puts you back a step,” Britney replied while breaking down in tears.

Laura dated tennis professional player Jordan Thompson for a year but the couple split up earlier this year. Britney has said that their breakup was amicable and cited Thompson busy travel schedule as the reason they decided to part ways. The reality revealed that she struggled to get over the split.

“There have been days I didn’t get out of bed, there have been days I didn’t stop crying,” she said on the Life Uncut podcast.

“There is not a story here. There is nothing that happened. It is the most beautiful and amicable break up … we’re at a point of life where we couldn’t physically be together.”
