Sam Raimi collaborator, Bruce Campbell, teases an appearance as Doctor Strange in the upcoming film for April Fool’s Day.
Bruce Campbell got in on the April Fool’s Day fun today as he made a gaffe about appearing in long-time collaborator Sam Raimi’s upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film.
In his post on Twitter, he included a picture of him being dressed by a makeup artist sporting Stephen Strange’s iconic hairstyle that features a lush head of black hair on top with white streaks on the sides.

The possibility for Bruce Campbell to appear in the film in some capacity is still open, as he’s made cameos in other Sam Raimi superhero flicks such as Spider-Man 2. And, because the movie delves even further into the multiverse, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Campbell could show up as an alternate version of the Sorcerer Supreme.

Campbell isn’t the only one to either internally or externally tease an appearance in the movie, as a host of other actors have drawn attention to whether they will appear in the movie.
The list of actors ranges from Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool to Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and the list goes on.
After Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘s trailer debuted during the Superbowl, many fans with sharp eyes noticed a voice, that was paired with a familiar figure, that sounded very similar to Patrick Stewart’s Professor X character. In the official trailer’s Youtube video, the voice is titled as “mysterious voice” and holds Patrick Stewart’s signature warmness when saying the line, “We should tell him the truth.”
The character is presumably talking about a revelation in regards to the multiverse that Strange is not yet privy to, marking what might end up being a mind-blowing twist when we all get to see it for ourselves.
