You will soon be able to strut down to the beach in Far Cry 6 swimwear thanks to a new colaboration betwen Ubisoft and Budgy Smuggler.

If there’s one thing we love to see in the video game world it’s unexpected collaborations. So put down those Pokémon Oreos because Ubisoft Australia has just announced a collaboration with Budgy Smuggler.

The unlikely pairing is to help promote Far Cry 6 which hits shelves next week. Where is the through line between swimsuits and a tale about a modern-day guerrilla revolution set in a fictional tropical paradise and starring the one and only Giancarlo Esposito?

Honestly we’re not entirely sure how to answer that one, but the Far Cry series has rarely taken itself too seriously in the past so we’re all about it.

The Far Cry 6 Budgy Smuggler collection is made up of two swimwear styles: a traditional male ‘smuggler’ and a one-piece for the ladies. No matter which option you pick, there’s two colour styles to choose from as well.

Chorizo Aqua Blue: Inspired by the tropical flavour of Yara’s ocean and sky the Chorizo Aqua Blue features, Chorizo, the disarmingly adorable dachshund who can be recruited to be your sidekick in your adventures through Yara.

Chicharrón Solar Yellow: Representing the golden glow of tropical sunsets and the burning heart of Yara’s revolution, the Chicharrón Solar Yellow features Yara’s one and only punk rooster and trusty companion, Chicharrón.

Personally we’re a sucker for anything sausage-dog related, but you do you friends.

Should you wish to don the collection with your summer bod, then you’ll need to head to Budgy Smuggler’s website from today. A pair of the men’s swimmers will set you back $60, while the one-piece comes to $90.

Well played, Ubisoft. Well played.
