It’s been revealed that Chris Walker, who is the ex-husband of Carrie Bickmore, is back on the market and is looking for love on dating apps.
Walker and Bickmore announced in January this year that they were separating after over a decade together. The couple shares two biological children together, and one from Bickmore’s previous marriage.
Now, a source has told Woman’s Day that Walker has signed up for dating apps in the hope of finding a partner again.
“After the initial sadness of the separation with Carrie, we’ve all encouraged him to put himself ‘out there’ again,” a source told the publication.
“He’s trying his luck with dating apps – he’s a little rusty given his lack of experience with them but he’s certainly had plenty of interest so far.
“It’s still early days though, and he’s not ready to dive straight back into a relationship, but he’s open to meeting someone new.”

Another source told the magazine that they’d recently spotted Walker on a date in Melbourne’s Prahran.

“They were smiling, laughing and getting along well, especially for what looked to be a date,” the onlooker said.
“They looked to be hitting it off with one another and he paid the bill.”

Both Walker and Bickmore took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce the news of their separation earlier this year.

“Hi there. It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,” Bickmore began the Instagram story statement.

She continued, “While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we’ve got. They are doing great.

“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”

Walker shared the same statement on his own account.

Walker was Bickmore’s second husband and she met him two years after her first husband Greg Lange passed away from brain cancer.
