Carrie Bickmore is reportedly in talks to join the cast of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here’ and is expecting huge seven figure sum.

A “well placed” insider told New Idea that the former The Project host has been offered a spot in the jungle and has been offered a seven figure salary.

“It’s been about three months of closed-door negotiations at Network 10 and while nothing has been locked in yet, TV executives are willing to wait until the very last minute if they have to,” the insider said.

“They know this would be a dream outcome, and if what I’m hearing is correct, there is a good chance Carrie could be joining Chris on that safari any day now,” they added.

Bickmore left Channel 10’s The Project last November after 13 years on the show, and ratings have plummeted ever since. However, if she were to join I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, it would be considered a huge win for the network.

“They have thrown a lot of money at Carrie to get her on board,” the source said.

They added, “There are wild rumours that they were willing to pay her up to $1 million – and her mate Chris is 100 per cent in support of it.”
