Former Married at First Sight Australia groom and serial social media pest Dean Wells has been put in his place by Instagram icon Celeb Spellcheck.

MAFS groom Dean Wells, who appeared on the 2018 season of the show, took a jab at the anonymous celebrity commentator on their account yesterday.

Wells, who calls himself a “TV, Radio and Social Commentator” on his Facebook page, got more than he bargained for when he started responding to comments on one of Celeb Spellcheck’s posts, which guessed the names of future influencer offspring.

The seemingly innocuous post, which listed potential names pregnant influencers Chloe Szepanowski, Indy Clinton and Ruby Tuesday Matthews may call their children, drew Wells’ attention.

Making snide remarks to commenters, including Pedestrian.TV‘s entertainment reporter Matt Galea, Wells quickly drew the attention of the anonymous author.

“With all due respect, shut the fuck up,” they responded, tagging Wells.

“What a great life you’ve carved out for yourself, is this literally all you do?” Wells retorted.

“Literally all you do is comment sexist, homophobic and racist things on everyone else’s page looking for attention,” Spellcheck responded. “Bye.”

So Dramatic! covered the rest of the pair’s exchange:

Dean Wells: “Your really making a difference by talking about the potential baby names of celebrities. [sic].”
Celeb Spellcheck: “You’re*.”

One follower pointed out that Dean himself followed the page, to which he replied: “Yeh, it’s a constant form of entertainment seeing how pathetic some people are. Makes me feel good about my life tbh. [sic].”

One fan told Wells to unfollow the account. “Not a 40 year old man starting beef with strangers on a Wednesday night over a lighthearted post,” they wrote. “Arguing with strangers doesn’t make you a big man it makes you a big low life.”

With one person asking, “Who is this Dean? Never heard of her,” another took a dig at the 2020 Dancing With The Stars contestant.

“I just had a quick glimpse at your page,” they wrote. “You’re a blue ticked homophobic nobody who dances on a TV show… and you’re trying to call people out?”
