Chicks On Speed Melissa Logan and Alex Murrary-Leslie, joined by Melbourne electro drummer Erica Lewis, present a collision where artists, interactive music technicians, composers and performers collide after dark to jam at the MCAon Friday February 28.
ARTBAR-goers can expect musical experiences with robots, performances made from motion controlled sensors and art installations. Guests can interact with Reactable – an electronic musical instrument with a tabletop user interface. The night will also feature Chicks on Speed’s soon to be released musical instrument app and samples of work from their upcoming album Utopia.
The Chicks perform with Billy Lime on MCA Square at 7pm to kick off the night.
Tickets are $20/$15 MCA Members and Concessions in advance (+bf) and $25 at the door (subject to availability). Over 18s only.
