Aerial photos of actor Chris Hemsworth‘s nearly completed mansion have been released. The thing looks like Coles murder mall that’s waiting for council clearance to approve its demolishment.

The mansion is located at Broken Head near Byron Bay. The construction began late last year to replace the existing eight-bedroom Balinese-Style resort, as Real Estate AU reports.

The original property was bought for $7 million in 2014. Now, the 35-year-old Thor star and his wife Elsa Pataky are spending almost $9 million to rebuild the home. It is rumoured to feature a gym, steam room, infinity pool, media room, games room and a spa overlooking Seven Mile Beach.

Obviously the whole thing is still under construction, so maybe the couple will rectify this gaudy mess and I’ll end up eating my words. But in the meantime I’ll poke fun at it whilst I continue to pay extortionate rent in Sydney’s inner suburbs.
