Celebrity chef Christine Manfield has joined the all-star team at Providoor.
The premium meal delivery service made its return to Australia’s East Coast in October with a new investor, a new team, and some fine chefs and food personalities officially attached.
The game-changing food delivery company was established during in Melbourne in 2020, offering a much-needed lifeline to the city’s struggling restaurants during the pandemic.
After going into liquidation earlier this year, Sam Benjamin, founder and managing director of Seventh Street Ventures, then acquired the company in April, and it relaunched in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane last month.
And Manfield has now joined the likes of Matt Preston, Silvia Colloca, Anna Polyviou, Luke Nguyen, Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel, Justin Narayan, George Calombaris who were part of the initial launch.
One of this country’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, Manfield is an award-winning author and a regular contributor to food and travel features in print media.
“As a chef without a restaurant, this platform offers people the opportunity to access and taste some of my signature homestyle dishes from my Spice Kitchen repertoire carefully recreated by the Providoor team,” she says about joining Providoor.

As of last Friday, November 17th, you can order Manfield’s Chickpea Potato and Turmeric Curry, a nourishing and comforting vegetable curry with a gently spiced tomato & yoghurt gravy, a Coconut Prawn Curry with coconut milk, tamarind and aromatic spices blend together in perfect harmony for the prawns, or her Black Pepper Chicken Curry via Providoor’s official website.
Other mouthwatering meals include Colloca’s lush lasagne, Mehigan’s enticing Moroccan-style lamb tagine, Preston’s juicy mushroom burger, Feildel’s traditional coq au vin, Narayan’s popular Taco Family Kits, and Polyviou’s smooth white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry basil salad.
Providoor Frozen is available via the official website, while Providoor Local can be ordered through the Uber Eats app or the official website.
