It’s been revealed that Cassie Sainsbury, otherwise known as “cocaine Cassie” has been offered the highest salary to star in the upcoming season of SAS Australia.

It was announced that Cassie will be a cast member on the upcoming season. She will be joined by AFL commentator Abbey Holmes, Thai cave rescue hero Dr Craig Challen, AFL great Jason Akermanis and rugby player Mahalia Murphy. Fashionista Lindy Klim, Olympic athletes Matthew Mitcham and Stephanie Rice, actor Zima Anderson, and Tim Robards, famous for his stint on The Bachelor, will also be a part of the cast.

A source has told New Idea that the majority of the cast was offered around $30,000 to appear on the show, but said Cassie was offered considerably more, and that the amount was close to six figures.

“Cassie is one of the highest paid of the cast this year,” a source told the magazine. They added: “Her CV isn’t for everyone.”

“For the first time on SAS Australia, these men and women will travel offshore to a secret base in the Middle East, where they will eat, sleep and train together in punishingly hot and arid conditions, with no allowances or exceptions made for their celebrity status or gender,” a press statement for the show reads.

It continues, “The celebrities will be pushed beyond their limits like never before, as they’re subjected to extreme physical endurance, sleep deprivation, interrogation and psychological testing in unforgiving, dramatic terrain. Some will reach breaking point and withdraw. Who will have the mental strength to tough it out to the end?”

Anna Heinrich, who is married to Tim Robards and took part in the grueling reality show last year, has said that she thinks her hubby is concerned that he won’t do as well as her on the show. She lasted 11 episodes and made it to the final six before voluntarily withdrawing from the competition.

“I think he is more nervous about not doing as well as me. It is way worse than what you actually see,” Heinrich told Daily Telegraph. “So, yeah, I am worried.”
