A Facebook page set up for a ten-year reunion of Corey Worthington’s infamous party has caught fire online, with over 5,000 revellers keen for another epic blowout.

For those who don’t recall (or weren’t watching Today Tonight during that period of their life) the then-16-year-old Worthington hosted a party at his parents’ house in Narre Warren, which quickly blow out of control, as the invite spread on social media.

Over 500 teens rampaged through the suburban streets, and hundreds of breathless beat-up pieces followed, warning parents of the dangers of social media. This could be your trampled rose patch. This could be your bird bath. Do you even know what your kids are up to online?

Now, ten years on – it seems people are ready to party again – and, fittingly, word is spreading via social media.

“It’ll be BYO again and if you could each bring a plate of something as well that would be fantastic”, the tongue-in-cheek invite states, before suggesting a few soundtrack options from the era: Operator Please, The Potbelleez, Sam Sparro, and Gabriella Cilmi.

Don’t book time off work yet though, as the invite stresses: “We’re still waiting on confirmation from Corey that this is actually happening, but it’ll be somewhere in Narre Warren again.”

Here’s what Worthington looks like now (well, in 2014), by the way.

It’s good to see that he is still riding the yellow glasses thing, too. Props!
