If you love yourself some steamy hot Cup Noodles from time to time, there’s a chance you may love their latest release.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Cup Noodles, they’ve brought us a crazy concoction that marries soup with soda.
There’s every chance that pouring a can of soda into your soup is probably going to result in a less than drinkable situation, but we have faith that Nissin have done the opposite.
As per Hypebeast, there are four flavours that come as part of the celebratory release. There’s Cup Noodle Soda, Seafood Soda, Curry Soda and Chili Tomato Soda.
Now let’s get to the bottom of what these actually mean. Basically we understand that each of the recipe’s bases are formed using different flavours of soda.
For example the Cup Noodle Soda uses a ginger ale soda with a salty and peppery aroma, the Seafood Soda uses a cream soda flavour as a base with a seafood undertone, the Curry Soda uses a cola soda base with curry spices and last and certainly not least, the Chili Tomato Soda is loaded with its namesake ingredients.
If you’re the kind of person who goes by the ethos of trying anything once, this has definitely got your name written all over it.
