Sex is a big thing in Cyberpunk 2077 and the developers aren’t too pleased that players are finding ways to bang Keanu Reeves’ character.
Rule 34 of the internet states that there’s always a porn version of something out there with no exceptions. So I guess it was inevitable that when Cyberpunk 2077 developers CD Projekt RED unveiled its official mod supporting tools that folks will find ways of tweaking the (buggy) game so that your character can have sex with Keanu Reeves.
You wouldn’t think that the now-infamous Cyberpunk 2077 “dick glitch” could be topped but horny folks always manage to find a way.
Anyway, Eurogamer first caught wind of a now-deleted mod over at Nexus Mods that allowed players to swap character skin textures onto other character models in the game.
That’s perfectly fine and all except some folks decided to swap the skin of Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand onto one of Cyberpunk 2077‘s joytoys – aka a sexbot.
While Johnny Silverhand does have some sex scenes in the game, they’re all from the player’s perspective. This mod essentially flips that around and offers some idea of what it’s like to bone Keanu.
And I’m sorry to say that it’s pretty unsexy.

The character model remains clothed the entire time and is (unsurprisingly) pretty buggy, which kills the mood a bit. That being said, this is as close as you can get to romancing Johnny in the game so beggars can’t be choosers.
While this is all in the name of horny fun, CD Projekt RED weren’t too pleased with the number of players tweaking their game so that they can have sex with Keanu and have banned all mods that allow people to do that.
They also released a statement (via PC Gamer) explaining why this, all of which is tinged with a sense of discomfort:
“Our most important rule regarding user-generated content, game mods in particular, is that it can’t be harmful towards others. In the case of model swaps, especially those that involve explicit situations, it can be perceived as such by the people who lent us their appearance for the purpose of creating characters in Cyberpunk 2077.
“Therefore, when making fan content, creators have to make sure they’ve got permission from all the concerned parties (which might be people other than CD PROJEKT RED). For the characters we’ve invented for the game, we broadly permit you to tweak the game at will and just have fun. When it comes to models of real people whom we’ve asked to participate in the game, we kindly ask you to refrain from using them in any situation that might be found offensive if you don’t have their explicit permission.”
In other words, you can have sex with all the original character models created for Cyberpunk 2077, but having sex with character models that look exactly like actual people (like Keanu Reeves in this instance) is some thorny legal territory and so CD Projekt RED will keep shutting stuff down that’ll allow people to have sex with Johnny Silverhands.
As many fantasies as it would fill to have fake video game sex with Keanu, I can’t imagine the real Keanu being thrilled at the idea of folks turning his character into a sex bot.
So in short, have sex with anyone you want in Cyberpunk 2077, just not Keanu.
