Danny Devito goes on Jimmy Kimmel and explains the infamous time he got Arnold Schwarzenegger high on the set of Twins.

Arnold Schwarzenegger previously talked about the time Danny Devito snuck a bit of weed into the end of his stogie on the set of Twins.

Arnold spoke on the incident six months ago while on Jimmy Kimmel and more recently, Devito found himself on Jimmy Kimmel as well.

Devito shared further insight into the incident when he talked with host Nikki Glaser a few days ago on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“So one day when I knew the workload wasn’t that big, we come to my trailer,” DeVito recalled. “We smoke a stogie. I take the stogie that I’m going to give him and I stick a little weed in it. He smokes the stogie, smokes the weed. All of a sudden we’re walking back to the set and he’s holding on to me.”

Devito continued, “You never do this buddy, what’s going on?”

“He’s great fun to work with, but stoned?” DeVito mused. “He is like, whoo… Off the charts, baby!”

Twins late director Ivan Reitman apparently had trouble getting Arnold to say his lines while he was stoned and DeVito was laughing the whole time.

“He goes, Arnold, go ahead, say your line.” Devito said while channeling Reitman. The Always Sunny In Philadelphia star added that Arnold stood silently when asked for his lines, musing him as a statue.

Arnold was most likely in that phase of being high where you feel like you’re unable to speak and you start getting trapped in your thoughts.

In the video above, Arnold shares his perspective on the same experience and says that he completely forgot his lines when asked about them. He even said he forgot what they were doing before lunch and had to talk to the crew to remind him where they were in the scene.

It sounds like it’s all love between the two, as they both stated that they like to play jokes on each other.
