Glee alum Darren Criss has dished on what he believes was the “worst” cover performed on the musical TV series.

Speaking on the LadyGang podcast during a game of ‘Do You Know Darren?’ alongside hosts Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek and Becca Tobin and fellow guest Este Haim of HAIM, Criss asked the group questions to see who knew him best.

Asked what the worst song covered on the hit TV series, Criss answered: “That’s too hard. There’s too many versions of songs. Did I just accidentally say that they were all bad?”

He then clarified that “there are too many options” and added the one that’s “conventionally understood to be a huge ‘oops'” before writing down the answer on a piece of paper: “What Does the Fox Say,” originally by Ylvis.

“It was so weird. It was one of these 15 minutes of fame for this song, and I don’t know, they just decided to put it in the show,” Criss said.

“I had fun because it was ridiculous. But we were so deep into the show, we were like fourth or fifth season, and we were just sorta delirious from the absurdity of it.

“For me, the more absurd it is, the funnier it is to me.”
