Death Cab For Cutie have announced details about their new album Kintsugi through an interview with Rolling Stone.
It’s the bands first album without member founding member Chris Walla, who was in the band for 17 years. With the band now continuing on as a three-piece.
Bassist Nick Harmer said, “The album’s called Kintsugi…It’s a Japanese style of art where they take fractures, broken ceramics and put them back together with very obvious, real gold. It’s making the repair of an object a visual part of its history.”
The band announced that the album will be released on Tuesday March 31 and feature 11 tracks, revealing track names such as ‘You’ve Haunted Me All My Life’ and ‘Black Sun’.
