Disney+ are here to calm your cinema cravings with their upcoming Drive-In that will be touring Australia and getting you out of the house

Kicking off in Brisbane on September 17th, it will soon be followed by Sydney and Melbourne (when restrictions permit). Disney+ Drive-In presented by Openair Cinemas will be playing all your old favourites as well as new classics. Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel movies will be shown, satisfying a wide audience.

The fun doesn’t end there, with a bunch of themed nights planned. If you’re not getting dad to dress up as Buzz Lightyear you’re doing it wrong. It will also be a great opportunity to see older movies like The Little Mermaid in cinemas, if you were too young when it was first released. Honestly, it’s just an excuse to watch Toy Story yet again.

Drive-ins were ridiculously popular for an older generation. Driving to an empty field, cranking the windows down, and munching on popcorn while watching a movie in the distance will be like entering another world.

Tickets are on sale now for Brisbane, with Sydney and Melbourne coming soon. We’ve compiled the list of the Disney+ schedule for you lucky Brisbane folks below. You’re very welcome.

More information such as dates for each screening can be found here. All that’s left for you to do is gather four friends, prepare your ‘coolest’ costumes, and plan to see as many movies as possible. Just make sure Toy Story‘s one of them.
