Get ready to put a face to She-Hulk as Marvel has cast the perfect actor to play the role in its Disney+ She-Hulk series.
Having found Kat Coiro to executive produce and direct several episodes for its upcoming She-Hulk series, Marvel has now cast Tatiana Maslany to play the title character.
And what an inspired casting choice that is.
According to Deadline, its sources state that Marvel has cast Tatiana Maslany to portray She-Hulk in what is shaping up to be an exciting TV project headed by several talented women.
Maslany’s casting is the cherry on top of this super-sweet green cake as not only will she be the latest female star to lead a Marvel project, heading up She-Hulk‘s writers room will be Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao.
Shortly after Deadline reported the news, Mark Ruffalo confirmed the casting news on Twitter and immediately stirred up hopes of a Hulk and She-Hulk team up in an Avengers movie or something at some point.

For those who are unaware of who Maslany is, she’s best known for playing several characters in Orphan Black, which netted her a heap of accolades over the years.
If that doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe you may have seen her as Sister Alice in HBO’s surprisingly great Perry Mason series, which dropped earlier this year.
As for when we’ll see Tatiana Maslany smash stuff around as She-Hulk on Disney+, well there’s no confirmed date yet nor should we expect one soon given how COVID-19 has wrecked havoc on the production schedules of several TV shows.
That being said, we will be getting other Marvel content on Disney+ in the form of WandaVision, which is set to release in late 2020, as well as The Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki at some point in 2021.
We may have to wait a bit for She-Hulk but at least we’re getting good Marvel content to tide us over for the time being.
