We’re sure by now we’ve all binged the Aunty Donna Netflix series Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun to the point where our brains feel like the soggy bottom of a microwaved meat pie or a three-day old slice of Domino’s.

The Aunty Donna boys have won over the hearts of Aussies for quite some time now. There office bigotry antics and Christmas pudding fanaticism has weaved its way into the DNA of Australian comedy culture.

For those that’ve been following Aunty Donna for a while, you may recall the months they spent hassling pizza chain Domino’s on their podcast. Encouraging the brand to give them a free franchise.

These high jinks were escalated back in 2018 when the boys flew up to Brisbane to attend pizza college, and attend a meeting with the CEO of Domino’s himself, Don Meij.

It’s been years in the making but the Aunty Donna and Domino’s collaboration has finally come into fruition, and it’s about as unhinged as you’d expect it to be.

The comedians and pizza chain have joined forces on a deal that will ultimately save you no money. If you head to the Domino’s checkout and use the code “AUNTYDONNA” you’ll cop two large pizzas, a 1.25 L bottle of soft drink and garlic bread, for $31.95. Essentially the same price as that combo without the code.

I mean if you were truly set on saving tuppence on a Domino’s deal you could opt for choosing the most expensive trad pizzas on the menu. Or you could find a better coupon code. I’ll leave that in your capable hands.

The whole deal is clearly a bit of a mick take and we love that. If this had genuinely been some kind of wack brand collaboration it would’ve just felt wrong.
