In an act that seems to be one-upping Pizza Hut’s massive anniversary giveaway, pizza giants Domino’s have revealed that they’re giving away 60,000 free pizzas, plus donating $60,000 to charity.

Last week, Pizza Hut revealed that they were kicking off a massive giveaway where they’d be dishing out 50,000 free pizzas to celebrate their 50th anniversary. In what I can only assume is a way to one-up their biggest competitor, Domino’s just announced that they’re giving away 60,000 free pizzas and donating $60,000 to charity.

Announced via their Instagram, the pizza gods wrote: “Have your pizza and eat for charity too!”

With the news of 2020 still dwindling into utter depression, Domino’s decided to rev up our excitement by announcing their “120K pizza and charity giveaway consisting of 60,000 FREE pizzas for customers, and $60,000 donated to charity.”

So, how does it work? Each day for six days, Domino’s will be dishing out 10,000 free pizzas via their Facebook page, and wait for the green light to hit up their website.

Then, you’ll nominate a charity to receive a $1 donation, and you’ll be walking away with a coupon for a free pizza. They’ve even made is simple by showing you their four favourite charities who deserve attention during the pandemic.

“Each winner will be able to nominate one of four selected charities for Domino’s to donate $1 to on their behalf, with a grand total of $60,000 donated by the end of the six days,” they detail.
