Any day’s a great day to eat pizza but World Pizza Day is an especially good day to do it. The annual event celebrating the the greatest gift the Italians ever gave the world falls on Wednesday, February 9th, and Domino’s is doing something special to mark the occasion.

Domino’s for Good Day will take place this Wednesday as the fast food chain comes together in the name of a good cause. Its stores across the country will donate $1 from every Value Max, Traditional, and Premium Pizza sold to Domino’s registered charity, Give for Good.

Established in 2016, the charity aims to make a big difference in the lives of Australians everywhere, working alongside major partners such as Lifeline, Australia’s largest crisis support line, The Smith Family, Australia’s leading children’s education charity, and Rural Aid, Australia’s leading rural and regional charity (you can visit giveforgood.org to find out more about what they do).

“There’s no better day of the year to launch Domino’s for Good Day than on a day dedicated to something we are all so passionate about: pizza!” Domino’s ANX CEO David Burness explained about the initiative. “We’re always looking for ways to give back to our local communities and put a smile on people’s faces, and this World Pizza Day is no different.

Through this initiative, we’re aiming to raise more than $150,000 across 700+ Domino’s stores to do some serious GOOD in communities right across Australia.”

The $1 donation from the selected pizzas will be taken from orders made both online and in-store, so enjoy a pizza and feel good about doing it this World Pizza Day. You can also choose to round up your order to the nearest dollar to further help support Give for Good. It’s a dough-brainer really.
