In the past decade three AFTRS student films have been nominated for Academy Awards and one for a Student Academy Award. Entry into most AFTRS courses is by merit selection.

Enrolment dates:

The midyearintake forSemester 2 introductory courses, diplomas andadvanced diplomas opens on April 15. The BA in Screen courses open forapplicationson May 30.
