UPDATE (21/5/2018):
A slice of Aussie music history was created yesterday when El Sol in Cronulla completely leaned in to the Nollsie mural outside its doors and rebranded for the day to El Noll.
The restaurant hosted live music from The Buoys, The Hundy Pers, DJ Jay Katz, and a new menu including NOLLchos, What About Beans, and Mexican Shannon Rolls – with ‘Shangria’ to wash it all down.
Now, please enjoy this photo of a bare-chested Nollsie in front of the bare-chested Nollsie mural.

Last Friday (May 4) The Brag announced a three story mural of our President Shannon Noll had been erected on the side of El Sol – a Mexican cantina in Cronulla.
Not only was the gigantic homage to all things great and true in this sunburnt country a beautiful depiction of a bare-chested Nollsie, it was created by Australian artist Scott Marsh.
Marsh is perhaps best known for his large scale murals of George Michael, Tony Abbott, and the renowned ‘Kanye kissing Kanye‘ piece, which he was paid $100,000 to paint over by Kanye’s management team.
Now, The Brag can exclusively reveal El Sol has completely leaned in to the Nollsie mural and on Sunday May 20 will rebrand for the day to El Noll to host live music and a new menu.
The Mexican Cantina will host bands, DJs, a secret headliner, and serve a new menu on May 20 including NOLLchos, What About Beans, and Mexican Shannon Rolls – with ‘Shangria’ to wash it all down.
