A Euphoria extra has opened up about her experience filming the TV show in a now-deleted TikTok video, saying the conditions made her “miserable” and that many extras decided to leave before filming finished.
In the video, user Rainelle Marie said that the latest episode, which has a large cast of extras in the audience for Lexi’s play, took weeks to film.
“The play and the audience scenes actually took forever for them to film, like it took weeks for them to film just this episode, which is honestly crazy.”
In the video, Marie pointed out her extra character in screenshots, showing that she was seated three rows behind main characters Cassie and Nate.
The actress said that because the scenes took so long to film, many of the extras refused to come back and singled out discrepancies where audience members were different actors in different scenes.
“There’s a lot of inconsistencies [in] background because of it, because obviously, people didn’t want to return. Like, I didn’t because I was miserable,” she added.

In the comments section, Marie revealed why she decided not to return to continue filming Euphoria.
“Why don’t people want to return,” asked one TikTok commenter, to which Marie responded, “It’s mostly the weather and boredom (16 hour days of long work)”.
Marie also touched on whether extras were paid for their long working days. “Yes [they are paid] but they [producers] don’t warn you how long u will be there for,” she replied.
The video was posted earlier this week but has since been deleted, and Marie’s entire TikTok account has been deleted, too.
As well as revealing the working conditions for extras, Marie shared some other juicy information about the Euphoria cast. She told one fan that Tom Holland [Zendaya’s rumoured boyfriend] was “on set a lot” and that “most of the actors were nice,” hinting that perhaps, not all of them were.
