It feels like everyone has an opinion on this year’s Love Island, and a Hollywood A-lister like Margot Robbie is clearly no different.

In an interview with The Sun, the actress discussed season eight of the inescapably reality TV show. And while she admitted that this season “hasn’t been the best Love Island season ever,” she still had strong opinions on this year’s contestants.

“Paige has probably been my favourite — but for pure entertainment I think Davide and Ekin-Su have made the season,” she said. Robbie also revealed why she feels such an affinity for the show. “Love Island reminds me of living in London — watching it with my girlfriends when everybody was home from work,” she added.

Robbie’s love of Love Island has never been hidden, with the actress once basing her birthday party theme around it. While at the Birds of Prey premiere in London in 2020, she was also caught happily meeting former Love Island contestants on the red carpet. She even slid into the DMs of Lucie Rose Donlan to invite the contestants to a post-film party.

After eight long weeks, Robbie and the rest of us will finally find out which couple will win during the Love Island finale this week. The final episode will air on ITV2 on Monday, August 1st at 9pm U.K. time, and will be available to watch on 9Now in Australia afterwards. Will Davide and Ekin-Su walk away with the huge cash prize that they probably deserve?

While she films the hugely-anticipated Barbie film, Robbie took time out to make a cameo in the Neighbours finale this week. She came back to say farewell to the beloved soap alongside other iconic stars like Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia. Robbie played teenager Donna Freedman on Neighbours between 2008 and 2011.
