We take a look at every actor from ‘The Batman’ that showed up in a Marvel movie prior to their appearance alongside the caped crusader.

There are no shortage of crossovers between DC and Marvel, especially with Marvel’s ever-growing catalogue sucking more and more new actors in to fill the shoes of Marvel characters. The Batman was no exception, as its cast was filled with Marvel alum.

Zoë Kravitz – Angel Salvadore (X-Men: First Class) → Catwoman

Kravitz was a part of the first mutants Charles Xavier teamed up with in 2011’s X-Men: First Class. The movie’s tagline describes it as such:

“In the early 1960s, during the height of the Cold War, a mutant named Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) meets a fellow mutant named Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender). Despite their vastly different backgrounds — Charles grew up with a wealthy family, while Erik lost his parents at Auschwitz — the two become close friends. As the world teeters on the brink of a nuclear war, Charles and Erik with other mutants join forces to save humanity. However, a situation soon tears the friends apart.”

Andy Serkis – Ulysses Klaue (Avenger: Age of Ultron | Black Panther) → Alfred

The Gollum actor first appeared as Klaue in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron before meeting his demise in Black Panther.

Jeffrey Wright – The Watcher (What if…?) → Jim Gordon

Jeffrey Wright played the all knowing Watcher in 2021’s What if…? series which debuted on Disney+. The show followed a series of seemingly unconnected scenarios in which twists change a key aspect of the MCU.

Colin Farrell – Bullseye (Daredevil) → The Penguin

Farrell played Bullseye in 2003’s widely panned Daredevil movie which starred Ben Affleck oppossite of him. His almost manic performance as the marksman drew mostly criticism following the role.

Barry Keoghan – Druig (The Eternals) → Joker

Barry Keoghan played the complex and conflicted character of Druig in 2021’s The Eternals.
