Gibson Iron Eyes – the teen whose parents have accused Ezra Miller of grooming them – has defended the star again in a new video.

Gibson Iron Eyes (born Tokata Iron Eyes) – the teen whose parents accused actor Ezra Miller of grooming them – has defended the The Flash star again a new video.

Earlier this week, Chase Iron Eyes and Sarah Jumping Eagle – parents of Gibson Iron Eyes – filed a restraining order against Miller in the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court. They alleged that Miller had met Gibson when they were only 12 years old, and had since been grooming and controlling them and giving them access to drugs.

“If [they] were of [their] right mind and just making jacked-up decisions, I would be like, ‘OK, you have to learn the hard way. But [they’re] not only having mental health issues, but there’s a predator taking advantage of [them] at the same time.” Jumping Eagle told Rolling Stone.

Gibson defended Miller in an email to Rolling Stone and later in an Instagram post. They have since also posted a new video once again claiming that they are not being ‘brainwashed’ by the actor and that also their previous statements were written by them.

“[The statements] are directly from me,” they say in their video. “Nobody is controlling my Instagram account.” The teen also clarified that they don’t have a phone right now – which their parents alleged was Miller’s doing – because of their own ‘personal convictions’.

“Honestly, it’s really distressing that the narrative of the ‘victim’ in question is not being granted any trust. I worked really hard to make it clear what was going on.” they added.

“If the statements are too profoundly contrasting to whatever assumptions those of us have garnered and have chosen to carry, I’d like to say that it’s nobody’s business and that no one is owed a story. Or an outcome.” they said, before stressing that they were ‘disappointed’ in their parents and media coverage of the issue.

“This is my life. These are my decisions. And I’m disappointed in my parents and the press in every way,” they said.

The video comes days after Gibson’s lengthy Instagram statement, in which they accused their parents of ‘psychological manipulation’ and being ‘transphobic’.

Shortly after, Gibson’s parents alleged that the statement was not written by them. They also claimed that Miller had control of Gibson’s personal belongings and documents, including their passport and government IDs. They also alleged that Miller provided Gibson with LSD and alcohol, which led to Gibson having a bad trip and being admitted to a mental health hospital.

In an email to Rolling Stone earlier this week, however, Gibson denied all of their parents’ allegations.

“The notion that I have been brainwashed or that I’ve been coerced in any context is grotesquely false. My independence from my family in this way is new and complex, their reaction to my actions is not my responsibility, [and I’ve] tried to have civil virtual interactions with both of them and failed.” they said.
