The comedian is bringing her critically acclaimed showIcebergback for an encore season.
Her ability to make fun of her own often neurotic tendencies, combined with an ever-keen curiosity lead Ward to a question as old as Freudian theory itself: what’s under the tip of the iceberg? Her answer “the rest of the iceberg” might have made for a short show, but thankfully the metaphor runs a littler, er, deeper than that.
In 2012, Ward’s last showThe Hedgehog Dilemma scooped up an impressive slew of awards. In the meantime, she hosted the highly personal documentary ‘Felicity Ward’s Mental Mission’ which turned the focus on to her own struggles with mental health to help raise awareness without going all ‘after school special’ on people.
