Sarah Ferguson, otherwise known as Fergie, has revealed that she and Princess Diana were once arrested for a very bizarre reason at her Bachelorette party.

The Duchess of York said on The Kelly Clarkson Show that she and Princess Diana dressed up in police outfits for her Bachelorette party and went to a bar.

“It was extraordinary because we went to a nightclub – of course, you go to a nightclub with the Princess of Wales,” she said.

She continued, “We sat down, and the waiter came up to us and said, ‘Excuse me, this is a members club. It’s for fun, and we don’t serve police officers here.”

Sarah Ferguson explained that she and Princess Dianna were arrested for impersonating an officer, but said they were quickly let go once the cops realised who they were.

Fergie added that she and Princess Dianna spotted “smoky bacon-flavoured crisps” in the vehicle and “started taking and eating them” but they were quickly told off by the officer.

Princess Diana married Prince Charles in 1981, and the couple had two children, Prince William and Prince Harry. The couple divorced in 1996. The former princess tragically passed away on August 31st, 1997 in a car accident.

Fergie and Princess Diana remained close friends, even after the divorce, with the Duchess telling Harpers Bazaar that the princess spoke about her the day before her untimely death.

Fergie said: “In fact, the day before she died she rang a friend of mine and said, ‘Where’s that Red? I want to talk to her.’”

Fergie also told the publication that she doesn’t actually miss Princess Diana as she believes that she is with her “all day”.

“She and I, we laughed a lot,” Fergie said. “We got into trouble a lot.”
