The first ‘I’m a Celebrity’ cast member has been revealed, and there’s one huge twist.
Unlike previous years where cast members have known about their participation in the show, Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown blindsided radio hosts Will and Woody on their show and told them that one of the two men would be entering the jungle on April 2nd.
In the segement Morris and Brown tell Will and Woody that they will officially be revealing the first celebrity entering the jungle on today’s show. After a few minutes of teasing, Brown says: “We can officially reveal the celebrity going to the jungle, the radio host is… It’s one of you two guys!”
Morris adds: “It’s one of you two guys is going in”.
Confusion ensued as both men insisted that they had no idea and hadn’t been asked to be part of the show.
“I’ve got a family. We’ve both got babies,” Will said.
Woody added, “There are big conversations to be had on the home front. Do we need to decide?”.

It’s yet to be confirmed which of the men will be taking part in the popular reality TV show.
Either Will or Woody is the first cast member of the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here that has been revealed. However, Network 10 has been dropping a number of clues about who will join the cast.
New Clue 1: Logie winning Actress: A star of both the stage and screen, they’re no stranger to drama away from home. Question is, how will they handle the insects?
New Clue 2: A Celebrity chef: this celeb chef master the jungle and walk away with the crown like chefs before them?
Clue 3: TV Personality: It’ll be all hands-on deck when they go from the high seas to the Africa jungle. Will they be the perfect campmate, or will they go overboard at the first big swell?
Clue 4: UK reality star: A UK TV Star that’s ‘shore’ to bring the drama to the jungle.
Clue 5: Athlete: A sporting legend who is the queen of the court.
Clue 6: TV host: An outspoken TV host who’s sure to divide campmates.
Clue 7: Reality star: Which reality star will get a fright at first sight? No stranger to dinner parties, they have a lot of baggage on board.
There have also been three smaller clues that have been teased, and include a Brownlow Medal-winning “famous footballer”, a “comedian”, and a “boxing lightweight”.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here Australia will premiere on March 2nd 2023 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
