Lady Gaga has just gifted the world a first look at the upcoming film, House of Gucci.

Taking to social media, Gaga shared a photo of herself and Adam Driver, posing as the happy Gucci couple, in head-to-toe Gucci, naturally.

The upcoming film is set to depict the true story that is the downfall of the Gucci family empire – the assassination of Maurizio Gucci and the subsequent downfall of the Gucci family’s empire.

As per Variety, Adam Driver is set to portray the role of Maurizio Gucci, the former head of Gucci fashion and grandson of Guccio Gucci, while Gaga will bring to life, Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife.

To go into further detail about the the movie, Variety has reported that it’s a dramatisation of the events surrounding the assassination of Maurizio, as well as the trials that followed, where Patrizia was charged with her husband’s murder in 1995.

Patrizia was actually recently released from prison in 2016, where she served 18 years.

The first look of the movie comes in on a particularly positive note, given that the multi-hyphenate has most recently been making headlines due to her recent dog-napping.

Following reports of the horrific incident which resulted in a tragic shooting of her dog-walker, Ryan Fischer, as well as two of her three dogs being stolen, we became aware that Gaga was in fact overseas in Rome, working on a new film.

After being broken the news, it took a little while for Gaga to verbalise on social media, not long before sharing a gut-wrenching message: “My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us.”

Gaga’s dogs were returned safely, her dog-walker is making a solid recovery and the movie is looking great. Thing are looking up.
