Florence Pugh has taken to Instagram to shine a light on offensive comments she’s received about her breasts.

The ‘Black Widow’ actress wore a sheer pink tulle Valentino dress to the designer’s haute couture fashion show in Rome, Italy on Friday. The 26-year-old went braless and her nipples were fully visible – a move that gained a lot of criticism on social media.

“So that’s what they look like (disappointing) but still cute,” one commenter wrote about Pugh’s chest. Another added, “those things are the size of a babies big toe. Glorious,” with a third writing, “Technically you r flat.”

The post on Pugh’s Instagram showing her wearing the sheer dress has thousands more comments blasting both her body and the outfit.

“Wear a dress that leaves something to the imagination instead of allowing the world to see your chest and nobody will say anything nasty. Cuz this dress is pretty nasty. And you KNEW people would talk about it that’s why you wore it. And you KNOW it,” one wrote.

“Not when the females want to run around showing them off to attract the attention of men and then bitch about it. They literally go out if their way to be sexy and then bitch because they are sexualized. That’s my frustration,” commented another.

However, Pugh has taken a stance against the offence comments saying that men will happily “destory” a women’s body when they have the anonymity of being behind a computer screen.

“Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none? What. Is. So. Terrifying,” Pugh wrote in an instagram post.

“Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it,” she continued. “Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during, or even now after.”

She continued, “What’s been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio..?”

“Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none? What. Is. So. Terrifying,” Pugh asked men in a lengthy follow-up Instagram post shared on July 10.

‘Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it,” Pugh began her message alongside a series of photos of her wearing the pink dress.

“I’m very grateful that I grew up in a household with very strong, powerful, curvy women,” Pugh continued. “We were raised to find power in the creases of our body. To be loud about being comfortable. It has always been my mission in this industry to say ‘fuck it and fuck that’ whenever anyone expects my body to morph into an opinion of what’s hot or sexually attractive.”

Pugh concluded her message by adding, “I wore that dress because I know. If being loudly abusive towards women publicly in 2022 is so easy for you, then the answer is that it is you who doesn’t know. Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans. Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise. And all because of two cute little nipples….”
